Spokane native K.A. Gilmore returns home August 16th to 18th to launch the first book in her three-book nonfiction series, Nobody Told Me I Am Black, bringing the stories back to the community where they originated. Join Karen at one or more of three Spokane & Coeur d’Alene events to celebrate what began exactly four years ago. It’s been a long journey. NOW WE CELEBRATE!

An intimate brunch in a unique venue in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with the author, K.A. Gilmore, featuring conversation, around the book, and an opportunity to discuss the stories that inspired the series (and may involve some of you).
